Musician Paul Shaffer has listed his Bedford mansion for $2.75 million.
According to a Realtor.com report, Shaffer and his wife Cathy bought the property at 23 Cedar Hill Road in 1991 for $680,000. The 5,000-square-foot home was built in 1968 and renovated in 2015, and it features four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms along with a saltwater pool and tennis/basketball court.
Shaffer, who was the longtime musical director for David Letterman’s talk shows, told an interviewer that he and his wife were now “empty nesters” since their children moved out and they were planning to relocate to an apartment they owned on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
