Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has been named exclusive leasing agent at 1311 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains, the commercial real estate firm announced on Wednesday.
The landlord, New Jersey-based Onyx Equities, LLC, has invested more than $5 million in interior and exterior renovations to the 325,600-square-foot, Class A office complex, which includes three five-story interconnected glass-and-steel buildings on a 25-acre campus, Onyx acquired the former Parker Corporate Center property in 2014 in partnership with Siguler Guff & Co. LP after the previous owner defaulted on a $52 million mortgage loan.
John Saraceno, co-founder and managing principal of Onyx Equities, said the joint-venture partners have leased more than 35,000 square feet of space since taking ownership.
Glenn Walsh, executive managing director in Newmark Grubb Knight Frank”™s Rye Brook office, along with senior managing director Larry Ruggieri and associate Ross Armstrong, will handle leasing for Onyx.
The Westchester/Connecticut office of CBRE Group Inc. had the agency assignment at 1311 Mamaroneck in 2015.
