Stamford-based Building and Land Technology (BLT), a vertically integrated real estate developer, manager and private equity firm, has hired Brian Carcaterra as executive vice president.
In his new job, Carcaterra will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of leasing for BLT”™s national office portfolio, investments and joint ventures. He will be co-leading the leasing initiative with BLT”™s Leslie Whatley, executive vice president.
Prior to joining BLT, Carcaterra spent over two decades as a broker and senior leader at Newmark Group Inc. and CBRE Group Inc., and he co-founded Homewood Real Estate Partners, which has aggregated investments in over 25 different assets.
