The Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors in White Plains has joined the National Association of Realtors in its nationwide call for donations from its 1.2 million members to a relief fund supporting victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The Realtor Relief Foundation, whose goal is to help families who have endured catastrophic loss, will use the money for mortgage and rental assistance, the national organization said.
“We are asking all of our members, as well as our Hudson Valley residents, to help with this cause, as thousands of people have been left homeless as a result of this ravaging storm,” said Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors CEO Richard Haggerty. “We thank you for whatever you are able to donate.”
