The former adjacent Westport properties of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein have been listed for a combined $21 million.
The 5.66-acre parcel spanning 26 and 28 Beachside Ave. was sold in 2018 for $16 million, at a time when the Oscar-winning executive”™s life descended into legal issues that ultimately landed him in prison. The properties were acquired by Westport real estate investor Andrew Bentley, who demolished the residences on both properties are is now selling the land.
According to a report in Dirt.com, the 3.03-acre plot at 28 Beachside Ave. is priced separately at $11 million while the smaller 2.63-acre parcel at 26 Beachside Ave. comes a $10 million price tag. Weinstein acquired the two properties in separate transactions ”“ the first in 1994 and the second in 2000 ”“ for a combined total of $8.24 million.
