Greenwich Academy has announced plans to acquire a 54-acre parcel on Glenville Road in central Greenwich that is owned by the Indian Spring Land Co.
In a press announcement, Greenwich Academy said it hoped to use the property for expanding athletic facilities and faculty housing while pursuing sustainability initiatives and preserving the parcel”™s wooded areas and wetlands. Greenwich Academy, which is an all-girls college-preparatory school, did not publicly disclose what it was paying for the land, which is close to its North Maple Avenue campus.
“Innovation and opportunity are the hallmarks of a GA education,” said Head of School Molly King, “The addition of this Glenville Road property will be a gamechanger for our students and our school. We could not be more energized for the future of Greenwich Academy.”
