Houlihan Lawrence, the residential real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Bronxville, is showcasing its luxury property listings through a new online partnership.
The company this month will have 100 of its selected high-end homes featured at 1stdibs.com, the online global marketplace for antiques, fine art, jewelry and rare collectibles that began showing luxury real estate on its site about a year ago. Houlihan Lawrence is the first independent brokerage featured there.

Founded in 2001, 1stdibs.com attracts more than 2 million unique visitors to its site each month. More than one-fourth of its visitor traffic comes from top international markets, including China, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Germany, Russia and France. Dealers marketing on the 1stdibs.com site reported nearly $500 million in sales in 2011.
Founded in 1888, Houlihan Lawrence is the 15th largest independent realty firm nationwide. The company has 25 offices and more than 1,000 agents. Its syndicated online listings reach more than 30 million buyers each month.
Law firm expands in White Plains
Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott L.L.C. has leased an additional 6,056 square feet of office space at 10 Bank St. in the White Plains central business district. It is the fourth expansion in five years for the firm, which extended its lease through 2018 for 15,244 square feet, said Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of Malkin Properties, the building owner and manager.
Eckert Seamans is headquartered in Pittsburgh, where the firm was founded in 1958. It has grown from nine attorneys in a single office to more than 245 lawyers in nine locations.
Newman and Malkin Properties leasing associates Kimberly Zaccagnino and Tara Long represented the landlord in the deal. Eckert Seamans negotiated for itself.
