Gyro shop to open at Ridge Hill
Lefteris Gyro will open its third Greek restaurant in Westchester County at Ridge Hill shopping center in Yonkers.
The company signed a 4,500-square-foot lease with Forest City Ratner Cos. at 1 Ridge Hill in the Ridge Hill Village Center. Royal Properties Inc. in Yonkers brokered the deal for the tenant.
Lefteris Gyro also has restaurants in Tarrytown and Mt. Kisco. David Landes, founding partner at Royal Properties, said his firm is looking for more sites for Lefteris openings throughout the county.
Feed grains broker adds Harrison space
Pasternak, Baum & Co. Inc., an 80-year-old agricultural commodities trading and consulting firm, added 6,000 square feet of office space and extended its lease through 2025 at 500 Mamaroneck Ave. in Harrison.
The global firm occupies 14,595 feet of space there, said Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of Malkin Properties.The landlord”™s Malkin Construction Corp. will build out the additional space for the tenant.
David Block, senior vice president of CBRE, brokered the deal for Pasternak, Baum. The landlord was represented by Newman, Malkin Properties leasing associates Kimberly Zaccagnino and Tara Long and attorney David Bleckner of David Bleckner P.C. Attorney Steven L. Elbaum of Robinson & Cole L.L.P. represented the tenant.
The Harrison firm acts as broker and merchant consultant  in the bulk commodities cash market, primarily brokering feed grains and directing their movement around the globe. Its clients include multinational corporations, farmer cooperatives, livestock producers and government trade agencies.
