In one of the largest lease transactions this year in Westchester, ConEdison Solutions, a 12-year-old energy services company, will move its headquarters and 250 employees from White Plains to The Summit office park in Valhalla.
A spokesman for ConEdison Solutions said the move will be completed by the end of this year. Officials at the Reckson division of S.L. Green Realty Corp. said the energy company has signed a long-term lease for 52,366 square feet of space at 100 Summit Drive, one of three class-A office buildings in the 690,000-square-foot Summit office complex owned by Reckson. ConEdison Solutions will occupy the second and fourth floors of the four-story, 250,000-square-foot building.
The energy company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Edison Inc., currently leases 49,000 square feet at 701 Westchester Ave. in the White Plains Office Park, one of four office parks that make up The Exchange, a 14-building, 1.5-million-square-foot commercial portfolio owned by New Jersey-based Normandy Real Estate Partners. Normandy in June renamed the office portfolio, formerly known as the Platinum Mile, after it took over management of the properties from RXR Realty L.L.C.
In Valhalla, Reckson has spent $6 million in improvements to 100 Summit Lake Drive, including renovations to the four-story atrium, elevator cabs, fitness facility, roof and rest rooms.
Reckson”™s leasing agents at The Summit are   Frank Tomasulo, Al Gutierrez and Ian Seppos of CB Richard Ellis in Stamford, Conn. ConEdison Solutions officials negotiated the lease deal for the company.
