The three-story, 16,195-square-foot mixed-use building at 36 Atlantic St. in downtown Stamford has been sold for $2.1 million, interested parties announced.
Built in 1925, the free-standing property is based on a 0.11-acre parcel. The footwear and apparel retailer Sport Scape occupies its 4,271-square-foot first-floor retail space. The building”™s upper two floors total 6,694 square feet and are vacant.
Jole Realty was the seller; the buyer was a local investor who was not identified. The Stamford-based real estate firm RHYS brokered the deal.
“The buyer will find success with this property by realizing the value of the upper floors and the continued desire of tenants wanting to be in the downtown area of Stamford and [preferring] a smaller boutique building,” said Greg Romano, a RHYS commercial broker.
