Manhattanville College in Purchase has appointed Jean Hall as Manhattanville College”™s new vice president of finance and operations. She joined the college in 2019 to oversee facilities and operations and in 2020, the vice president of finance responsibilities was added to her role.
“Jean has done a stellar job of getting us through one of the most difficult periods for our college,”™”™ said Michael E. Geisler, Manhattanville College president. “Not only did she manage all her regular responsibilities, formidable even in the best of times, but when Covid-19 struck, she helped devise different back-up financial plans to ensure that we would continue to operate even under a worse-case scenario. Luckily, the worst has not come to pass.”
Hall has extensive business operations experience in higher education. In addition to holding positions at Bethany College in Kansas and Knox College in Illinois, she has overseen operations at several nonprofit institutions.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University in Kansas.
