Rye Brook-headquartered Tailwind Air has announced the addition of new seaplane service to Provincetown, Massachusetts.
Tailwind passengers will be able to fly nonstop from the Manhattan”™s Skyport Marine to Provincetown Harbor beginning May 25, and the seaplane operator is also offering flights from Boston Harbor”™s Fan Pier Marina to Provincetown Harbor. The service will run through Sept. 5.
“We are excited to bring these new seasonal summer destinations to Bostonians and New Yorkers alike, in addition to our existing seasonal summer destinations from New York to East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Montauk, and Shelter Island, and Plymouth, Massachusetts,” said Peter Manice, director of scheduled service. “We are the only seaplane operator in the Northeast with scheduled commuter service, allowing a semi-private, super fast experience to hard-to-reach popular summer destinations, while also continuing to serve our core Manhattan to Boston Harbor customers.”
Tailwind also offers service between Bridgeport”™s Sikorsky Memorial Airport and Manhattan.
