Mary Frances Barrett and Beverly A. Thornhill, M.D., have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Hospice of Westchester in White Plains.
Barrett has more than 45 years of experience with senior care living facilities. Most recently she served as CEO of the Hebrew Hospital Home in Valhalla, a position she held from 1992 until her retirement in 2017.
Previously, Barrett held the position of COO at The Wartburg in Mount Vernon and administrator of the Baptist Home for the Aged in Riverdale. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, a Master of Arts degree in English from Manhattan College and a Master of Science degree in health systems management from Iona College.
Thornhill is currently the director of musculoskeletal radiology at Montefiore and an associate professor of radiology and orthopedic surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in biomedical sciences and her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
