James J. Landy, executive chairman of the Board of Hudson Valley Bank and Hudson Valley Holding Corp., has been selected to serve as vice chairman of the New York Bankers Association (NYBA).
Previously, Landy served as president and CEO of Hudson Valley Bank and Hudson Valley Holding Corp. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president of Hudson Bank and as manager of strategic relationships and sales. He has been employed by Hudson Valley Bank since 1977.

Michael Hood recently joined Judelson, Giordano & Siegel CPA, P.C. as a staff accountant. Hood joins the firm from a mid-size accounting firm in Chestnut Ridge with a background in preparing tax returns and financial statements and performing audit, review and compilation engagements.
Hood has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh and is pursuing a Master of Science in taxation at Bentley University. He also served on the audit committee of the Orange County Land Trust in Middletown.
