The National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP) in Woodbury, New York, recently announced its newly elected officers and directors for the 2021-2022 term. The installation of officers took place virtually Oct 27 and Mark Stewart Jr., CPA, of New City, was named president of the organization.
A professional organization comprised of certified public accountants practicing in the United States, NCCPAP serves as a forum for education, networking, community impact and advocating for its clients. It influences tax administration and tax policy by regularly meeting with the Internal Revenue Service representatives, state taxing authorities and elected officials.
