The Business Council of Westchester recently announced the recipients of its Business Hall of Fame Awards. The winners will be honored at the 2013 Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner April 18 at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. This year”™s honorees are:
- KeyBank ”“ Ruth H. Mahoney, president of KeyBank”™s Hudson Valley/Metro NY District, to accept the Corporate Citizenship award.
- Patrick L. Vaccaro, managing partner, Jackson Lewis ”“ Entrepreneurial Success award.
- Murphy Brothers Contracting Inc. ”“ Sean Murphy, vice president and operations director, to accept the Small Business Success award.
- Judith Huntington, president and CEO, The College of New Rochelle, Women in Business Success award.
- Thalle Industries – Glenn Pacchiana, president and CEO, to accept the Family-Owned Business award.

dressbarn, along with nonprofit organization Dress for Success, will gather 60,000 articles of clothing as part of its S.O.S. Send One Suit Weekend donation drive March 7-10. This is the 11th consecutive year the companies have partnered to help women in need receive professional business attire.
All 830 dressbarn stores in the U.S. will serve as drop-off sites for new or gently used professional attire, including suits, dress shirts, blazers, pants, dresses and shoes that will be used to benefit women seeking to transition into the workforce. The stores will offer donors an additional 15 percent total purchase savings in gratitude for their generosity.
Dressbarn stores participating in Westchester and Rockland counties include Port Chester, Scarsdale, Briarcliff Manor, Greenburgh, Thornwood and Nanuet.
Russell A. Davidson FAIA, of Somers, has been elevated to the American Institute of Architecture distinguished College of Fellows, an honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession. Davidson is recognized in the category “Led the Institute,” which distinguishes members for coordinating the building industry and profession of architecture through leadership in the AIA and other related professional organizations.
Davidson is president and managing partner of Kaeyer, Garment & Davidson Architects & Engineers P.C. in Mount Kisco. He has a Master of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree in architectural aesthetics from Union College.
