Lavoie was a judicial law clerk for the Hartford Superior Court and Judge Eliot D. Prescott at the Connecticut Appellate Court. She received her Juris Doctorate from St. John”™s University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from Central Connecticut State University.
