DANIEL A. SCHLANGER of Pleasantville has recently been honored with the New York State Bar Association”™s 2013 President”™s Pro Bono Service Award for efforts to open a Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office in Westchester County. Schlanger leads the consumer protection practice at his law firm Schlanger & Schlanger and was one of 20 attorneys to receive the award.
SOUND SHORE MEDICAL CENTER and Ludington Adult Day Services Program were recently honored by the department of social work at Iona College in New Rochelle with the third annual Gero-Education Community Partnership Award. The Iona Award recognizes the contributions of community partners who help the social work department prepare its students to serve the needs of an aging population.
