Sixteen cultural and historical institutions in Fairfield County are participating in “Connecticut Summer at the Museum ”“ Free Admission for Kids.”
The program launched on July 1 and runs through Sept. 6, and it enables free entry for all Connecticut residents 18 and under, along with one accompanying adult in each group. Funding for the program comes via an investment from the federal Covid-19 recovery funding Connecticut received from the American Rescue Plan Act, and the program is administered by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development”™s Office of the Arts in partnership with Connecticut Humanities.
More than 100 organizations are participating in the program. Within Fairfield County, the participants include:
