A national health club franchise and a metropolitan area grocery chain are among new commercial tenants signing leases in Westchester County in March deals reported by NAI Friedland Realty Inc. brokers.
In White Plains, Planet Fitness will lease 20,000 square feet of space at 250 Main St., joining the Metropolitan Plaza office and retail redevelopment shaping up on the downtown block beside City Center.
Robin Herko and Steve Lorenzo, executive vice presidents at Friedland Realty, and Friedland retail and office associate David Scotto represented landlord Metropolitan Plaza WP L.L.C. in the deal.
In Yonkers, Key Food Market Inc., the Staten Island-based supermarket chain, leased 22,000 square feet at 636 S. Broadway.
Friedland”™s Herko, Lorenzo and Scotto represented the tenant in the deal with landlord South Broadway Realty Corp.
At 371 S. Broadway in Yonkers, Dollar K leased 5,000 square feet of retail space. Rick Stassa, executive vice president at Friedland Realty, brokered the deal for the landlord, NSKA Realty Associates L.L.C.
Friedland”™s industrial division in March brokered the sale of 9-11 N. West St. in Mount Vernon, a 9,500-square-foot building with 4,500 square feet of land, to Med-Tek Contracting Inc. The Yonkers-based contractor paid $930,000.
Friedland industrial specialist Jeff Clinton represented both Med-Tek and the seller, R W B Holdings L.L.C.
In Yonkers, Brownes Supply Co. leased 5,000 square feet at 500 Nepperhan Ave.
Andy Grossman, Friedland Realty industrial/flex specialist, brokered the deal for both the tenant and landlord RJ Rose Realty L.L.C.
In the office market, Cross Country Construction L.L.C. leased 3,581 square feet of space at 3 W. Main St. in Elmsford.
Ellen Benedek and Carl Silbergleit, executive directors in Friedland”™s office division, represented the tenant in the deal with landlord Silverman Realty Group.
In all, Friedland commercial brokers closed 11 transactions in Westchester and the Bronx in March. The combined deals represent more than 126,000 square feet of space.
