Bloomberg Television’s Stephanie Ruhle will present the keynote at United Way of Westchester and Putnam’s second annual Women”™s Leadership Council luncheon next month. The event, an opportunity for women to learn and network, will be held March 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor.
Ruhle, anchor and managing editor for Bloomberg Television and co-host of “Market Makers,” is active in the professional development of women. She founded the Corporate Investment Bank Women”™s Network and co-chaired the Women on Wall Street steering committee. Ruhle also is a member of the board of trustees for Girls Inc. NYC and formerly served on the corporate councils of I-Mentor and The White House Project, a nonprofit organization working to advance women in business, government and media.
The council also will honor Dee DelBello, publisher at Westfair Communications Inc., and Mary Murray, manager, corporate citizenship and corporate affairs at IBM, as “Women of Distinction.” Lisa Salvadorini, News 12 Westchester anchor and managing editor, will emcee the event.
The Women”™s Leadership Council, which launched in 2013, is part of a national United Way movement designed to use leadership and philanthropy to promote financial self-sufficiency, education and health among women and their families.
