Nonprofit Westchester, an umbrella membership organization for the county”™s nonprofit sector, will host a discussion Friday on how nonprofits can leverage resources to finance agency projects.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Volunteer New York! office at 220 White Plains Road in Tarrytown.
Jim Coleman, executive director of the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency, will be guest speaker. Other speakers will include Geoffrey Schmits, Volunteer New York”™s senior director of finance and planning, and Joanna Straub, executive director of Nonprofit Westchester.
An NPW spokesperson said professionals from the county”™s nonprofit agencies will network to share ideas and discuss best practices.
