Nonprofit Westchester, an advocacy organization representing more than 80 nonprofits in the county, has added five new members.
They are: My Sisters”™ Place, a White Plains nonprofit assisting victims of domestic violence; New York School for the Deaf Foundation Inc. in White Plains; The LOFT: LGBT Community Services Center in White Plains; Groundwork Hudson Valley, an environmental group in Yonkers, and Songcatchers Inc., a New Rochelle group that makes musical programs available and affordable to that city”™s multicultural population.
Nonprofit Westchester is an umbrella organization that provides the county”™s nonprofit sector with shared resources, connections and information to strengthen the community in partnership with the for-profit and government sectors.
