Stamford-based First County Bank Foundation is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for its CommunityFirst grant program.
To be eligible for consideration, organizations must serve the communities of Stamford, Norwalk, Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, Westport or Bridgeport, and have nonprofit tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation is focused on supporting nonprofits involved in community development, affordable housing and educational endeavors.
The deadline for applications is March 31; information on the program is now online.
