The Elmsford-based nonprofit Feeding Westchester has hired Tami Wilson as chief operating officer, a newly created position.
Wilson has over 16 years of experience managing the operations of several New York City-based and national nonprofit organizations. Most recently, she served as the chief facilities and administration officer with the Legal Aid Society. Earlier in her career, she was vice president of operations and administrative services for the Food Bank for New York City.
“Tami brings extensive food bank experience and a passion for hunger relief. She will be a tremendous asset to Feeding Westchester as its first COO,” said Karen C. Erren, Feeding Westchester”™s CEO and president. “We are thrilled to welcome her to the Feeding Westchester family.”
