The Business Council of Westchester will host a dance contest Thursday night to raise funds for the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless and the Food Bank for Westchester.
Five couples featuring alumni of The Business Council of Westchester”™s Rising Stars program and local dance instructors will show off their footwork at the White Plains Performing Arts Center from 6 to 9 p.m. The event, titled “Dancing with the Rising Stars,” will be co-hosted by Jamie Johnson of Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Courses and Maria Bronzi from Altium Wealth Management.
Dancing in the event are Lauren Brady and Judeson Saintil from Hudson Dance & Tumble, Michelle LaFond and Marvin Vasquez from the Steffi Nossen School of Dance, John Zanzarella and Amanda Ready from On My Toes, Antoinette Klatzky and Won Choe from Fred Astaire Hartsdale, and John and Diane Durante from the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. The program also will feature a performance by the Westchester Knicks Dancers.
Judging the event are Business Council President and CEO Marsha Gordon, Jim Giangrande from Altium Wealth Management, Kurt Kannemeyer from St. Christopher”™s Inc. and Jerry McKinstry from Thompson & Bender.
