The African American Chamber of Commerce of Westchester (AACCWR), with locations in Mount Vernon and Rockland County, has joined #GivingTuesday, an international day of giving to encourage philanthropy. This year, #GivingTuesday is being held Dec. 1, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The chamber will contribute all donations toward its Progressive Partnering Business Boot Camp, a program that trains minority and women business owners on how to partner and become eligible to bid on larger projects.
