Three attorneys at New London, Connecticut-based The Reardon Law Firm PC have been named again to “The Best Lawyers in America®.”
They have been recognized by their peers for the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, specifically for high caliber work in personal injury litigation and medical malpractice law, both on behalf of plaintiffs.
Kelly E. Reardon was recognized for medical malpractice law and personal injury litigation. Robert I. Reardon Jr. and Joseph M. Barnes were recognized for personal injury litigation.
Reardon Jr. is board certified as a civil trial attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is known for work in personal injury and wrongful death litigation, especially relating to complex motor vehicle accidents, product defects, construction accidents and medical malpractice. He graduated from Boston Colleges, cum laude, and Fordham University School of Law, cum laude. He was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps where he prosecuted and defended contested general court-martial cases.
Barnes, also named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers since 2014, focuses on civil litigation related to personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice and worker’s compensation. His degrees are from Colgate University and the Quinnipiac School of Law where he graduated cum laude.
Reardon, a well-known former television journalist, is the managing partner of The Reardon Law Firm PC. She is known for her handling of personal injury cases and has a national reputation for success with medical malpractice claims. In addition to her law degree from Boston College, she has degrees from Princeton University, Columbia University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
