Psychology Partners Group (PPG) joined with White Plains Mayor Tom Roach recently to celebrate the grand opening of its new office in downtown White Plains, giving county residents a convenient option for accessing comprehensive and highly individualized mental health services matching patient needs with expertise in a wide variety of proven methods. Also in attendance were Westchester County Legislator Benjamin Boykin and White Plains Common Council President Victoria Presser as well as White Plains Common Council members Elizabeth Cleary and Jeremiah Frei-Pearson.
The new office is PPG’s second location, following in the footsteps of the group’s practice in Chappaqua, New York. The PPG White Plains office is located at 199 Main St. The office will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. as well as on Saturdays from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m.
“Our new office in White Plains is an extension of our already well-established psychotherapy practice in Chappaqua,” said Emily Bly, PhD, CEO and clinical director of psychology at Partners Group. “We are proud to offer a holistic, systems-based approach to psychotherapy, considering how each person’s relationships, behaviors and life choices are interconnected. Our experienced, compassionate therapists provide mental health support and resources to individuals, couples and families at all stages of life. We help people with a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation and relationship problems….”
“I’m very happy to see any kind of new business come into the city, particularly anything that deals with mental health,” said Roach. “I think that more people are open about being in therapy or receiving assistance. Like so many other things, when people are more open about it, more people do it, and it’s better for us as a community.”
Services offered at PPG’s White Plains location include individual therapy for adults, children and adolescents; couples therapy; family therapy; parent support therapy; art therapy; eating disorders treatment; and psychological assessments
PPG’s White Plains office office is within walking distance of the White Plains Metro-North train station and is also conveniently located near several parking lots (visitors can use the White Plains parking app to pay for parking; parking will be validated in the office).
