For nearly six decades, Rockland’s preeminent chamber, The Rockland Business Association (RBA) has been actively working on behalf of business owners, nonprofits and the community at large. Now, a change in leadership is anticipated to bolster its presence, membership and public advocacy both county and statewide, as former New York state Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski joins the team.
Current President and CEO Al Samuels has been at the helm of the organization for close to 40 years and has taken the chamber through its greatest triumphs and challenges — particularly during the 2020 Covid lockdowns. In addition to his advocacy and outreach as Chamber CEO and President, Samuels sits on the New York State Mid-Hudson Regional Council and the Government Affairs Committee for the Business Association of New York.
Some exciting changes that will help rejuvenate the chamber’s advocacy is the partnership Samuels and Zebrowski have now formed to take leadership of the RBA to the next level. Samuels will remain as the organization’s CEO, while Zebrowski will assume the mantle of president.
