Yankwitt LLP law firm in White Plains held a Holiday Food Drive in support of Feeding Westchester, the county’s leading hunger relief organization. During the two-week campaign, the firm collected five large boxes filled with nonperishable food for distribution to Westchester families in need.
“We are thrilled to support Feeding Westchester’s mission and proud of the involvement demonstrated by the entire firm,” said Russell Yankwitt, managing partner. “This drive is a small way to give back to the community in which we live and work, and our way to spread a little joy this holiday season.”
According to Feeding Westchester, each food drive plays a critical role in keeping their shelves stocked and food on the tables of our neighbors while simultaneously raising awareness about hunger and food insecurity in Westchester.
With one in three households in the county at risk of hunger, the contributions of businesses and community groups make a significant impact.
