LMC Media, a company that offers TV channels and media education opportunities for the Larchmont and Mamaroneck communities, recently launched the Frank Leicht Digital Media Archive. The archive houses videos and productions from the earliest days of the company’s founding in 1983 to provide a record of Larchmont and Mamaroneck’s history for residents.
The archive includes diverse content, such as board meetings, past graduation ceremonies, elections, LMC News segments, local theater performances, and historical society events. In creating this archive, LMC Media aims to document local media’s history and evolution and provide a resource for residents and historians to better understand the stories that have shaped the Larchmont and Mamaroneck communities.
LMC Media is the largest New York-based community media center outside of New York City. Its services include three TV channels, featuring local news, coverage of local government and school board meetings and events, and educational content from local school districts. LMC Media also provides media classes, production services, and networking events.
