Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP recently announced the appointment of Joan M. Tsang as an associate in its litigation practice based in the firm’s Guilford office.
Tsang brings many years of legal experience to Carmody having advised clients on civil litigation matters, specifically on medical malpractice defense as well as defense of general liability matters, including auto and premises liability. She also has experience in defending worker’s compensation claims.
Tsang earned her Juris Doctorate. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Following graduation, she worked as a courtroom clerk for the judges of the Judicial District of Middlesex before moving into private practice.
Recognized by Super Lawyers®, Tsang has been listed as a 2024 Rising Star honoree in the area of civil litigation: defense and is a current member of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) and New Haven County Bar Association (NHCBA).
