Boys & Girls Village (BGV) in Milford, Connecticut, received a $13,000 grant from State Farm to support the organization”™s Work to Learn program, which provides at-risk older youth with life- and job-readiness skills, preparing them for independence and adulthood.
Also located in Norwalk and Bridgeport, BGV is a leading provider of behavioral, educational, vocational and permanency planning services for Connecticut”™s most vulnerable youth and their families. Their Work to Learn program helps youth aged 16-21 who are in the foster care system or have been in the past, gain skills to achieve self-sufficiency.

In addition to providing this grant, State Farm agents will volunteer at BGV, providing education on a variety of topics.
