Westport investment firm Full Sail IP Partners has purchased the Weatherbeater paint brand from Transform SR Brands LLC for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition of Weatherbeater — which has been on the market for more than 50 years — is the second for Full Sail, following its pickup of the Odwalla brand from the Coca-Cola Company in September.
Full Sail was launched in April as a joint venture between the private equity firm Warburg Pincus and brand licensing consultant LMCA.
