SQAD, a Tarrytown-based provider of advertising cost analysis, will merge with Evanston, Ill.-based Workhorse Software, a provider of advertising planning software, under the SQAD name.
According to a SQAD press release announcing the merger Wednesday, executives from SQAD and Workhorse will combine to form the senior leadership team. Ken Green, who is the president of Workhorse Software, will become the president of SQAD, and Neil Klar will continue to serve as CEO of SQAD.
“This transaction comes in direct response to the industry”™s current need for integrated data and business systems,” Klar said in the press release. “As the media landscape continues to evolve, our collective goal is to develop flexible and integrated media planning and performance solutions that enhance transparency and efficiency within an integrated platform, incorporating solutions for both new and traditional media.”
The consolidated company will have offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, London and Manila.
