Greenwich-headquartered Splash Car Wash has acquired Wash Co., an express car wash facility and laundromat based in Middletown, New York. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Wash Co. was developed by Wayne and Glen Sheeley, whose family has been in the car wash business since 1969. This is the third acquisition by Splash Car Wash this spring; last month, the company purchased Gold”™s Car Wash & Detail in White Plains and the express exterior business in Cromwell, Connecticut, that was previously independently owned while operating under the Splash banner.
With the Wash Co. acquisition, Splash expands its operations to 20 locations across Connecticut and New York, and three in China.
“We are honored that great operators like the Sheeleys picked to partner with Splash,” stated Mark Curtis, CEO of Splash. “This new site is fantastic. Glen and Wayne have thought of everything to enhance the customer experience, both at the wash and the laundromat. We very much look forward to having this expertise on our team to help us develop new sites.”
