Armonk-headquartered IBM (NYSE:IBM) has acquired Equine Global, an Indonesian-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist and cloud consulting services provider.
Founded in 2009, Equine Global consists of four operating companies that specialize across ERP implementations, application development, and data management and analytics. Equine Global works with leading Indonesian brands to adopt new technologies into their business operations.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. This is IBM’s ninth acquisition of the year and its first of an Indonesian company.
“Equine Global will enhance IBM Consulting’s business transformation services in Indonesia, helping IBM capitalize on a growing IT services market fueled by the rising rate of AI adoption,” said the company in a press statement.
