Addtronics LLC, a Greenwich-headquartered holding company focused on acquiring and growing robotic automation solution providers, has acquired Sirius Automation, a developer of laboratory robotic systems for biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Founded in 2004 and located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Sirius Automation’s robotics solutions and services are tailored to maximize laboratory throughput, efficiency and accuracy, as well as optimizing data quality and utilizing headcount resources effectively. Sirius Automation is the fourth strategic addition to the Addtronics family, expanding its capabilities and end markets.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Sirius co-founder Justin Lu will continue to lead the organization as president and will work closely with the Addtronics leadership team.
