Clarapath Inc., a White Plains-based robotics company, has acquired Crosscope, a digital pathology company based in Mountain View, California.
The Crosscope Dx software platform was designed by pathologists to streamline the pathology process by enabling interoperability, storage, image management, and collaboration. The software provides a portfolio of AI applications to deliver an end-to-end digital pathology, and advanced, integrated, and highly flexible workflow features with an open and scalable architecture.
According to Claraptah, the acquisition combines and streamlines the company”™s SectionStar, an automated all-in-one tissue sectioning and transfer system, with Crosscope”™s workflow and computational pathology tools, with the goal of enabling labs to cost effectively deliver care with greater speed and efficiency.

The terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
