Shawn D. Nelson, founder and CEO of Stamford-based Lovesac (NASDAQ:LOVE), has authored his autobiography “Let Me Save You 25 Years: Mistakes, Miracles, and Lessons from the Lovesac Story,” which is being released this week by Forbes Books.
In his book Nelson recalls his quarter-century of experiences in growing Lovesac from a college side hustle to a successful initial public offering. The book is divided into 25 micro-chapters that include observations on the critical lessons he learned from his work.
“Entrepreneurship is a never-ending pursuit, but the journey is the gift,” Nelson said. “With an open mind, an honest heart, some ambition, time, help, and a little bit of luck—all things are possible. I hope you find that to be true, and I hope this little book can be useful to you as you make it so.”
