Elizabeth M. Pfriem, a Bridgeport-based newspaper publisher and philanthropist, died at her Southport home on Saturday at the age of 92.
Pfriem succeeded her husband, John Pfriem, as the president and CEO of the Bridgeport Post and Telegram in 1983.
