Author and entrepreneur Arianna Huffington will discuss the changing landscape of media and journalism this month at Manhattanville College, the first speech in the school”™s inaugural speaker forum series. The chairwoman, president and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group will speak at 7 p.m. March 25 at Reid Castle on the college’s campus in Purchase.
Castle Conversations, the college”™s subscription-based speakers forum, brings journalists, scientists and historians to the community, according to a statement.
“No other forum like this exists here, and we want the speakers to stimulate discussions in Westchester and Fairfield counties about the radically changing world in which we live,” said Jon C. Strauss, president of Manhattanville College. “It is our way of reaching out to the community, building relationships and sharing with our neighbors the ideas of the brightest minds in America.”

She has been named to Time magazine”™s list of the world”™s 100 most influential people and the Forbes most powerful women list. In 2012, The Huffington Post, the news and blog site Huffington launched in 2005, won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting.
