PepsiCo Beverages North America has debuted the Purchase-based the company’s “She Is PepsiCo” campaign which honors 28 female associates from 20 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
According to the company, each “She is PepsiCo” honoree will be highlighted on a personalized delivery truck wrap that shows them in their work setting. These delivery trucks normally carry images of PepsiCo brands such as Pepsi, MTN Dew and Gatorade, and the company stated this approach represents “effective vehicle for quickly and broadly raising awareness about career opportunities for women.”
“Representation matters. Women need to see themselves in roles to understand the doors that are open for them,” said Andrea Ferrara, chief human resources officer for PepsiCo Beverages North America. “As leaders, we are committed to applying the same rigor and care to the employee experience at the frontline as we are at all levels of the organization.”
