Ridgefield’s Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center (KTM&HC) has put out a request for new members of its board of directors.
The organization’s board is a volunteer endeavor, and new directors are being sought from diverse professional backgrounds and perspectives. Volunteers with finance expertise in areas such as portfolio management, budgeting, reporting financial results, and managing financial technology are especially in demand for this opportunity.
“The role of the board has evolved in recent years, and it plays a pivotal role in governance, fiduciary responsibilities, and planning,” said Board President Sara Champion. “Board members have been actively involved in creating new mission and vision statements and guiding KTM&HC through an exciting period of growth and transformation.”
Those interested in participating on the board are invited to contact Champion at president@keelertavernmuseum.org or Executive Director Hildegard Grob at hgrob@keelertavernmuseum.org.
