Krasdale Foods, a Harrison-based grocery distributor, has named Gus Lebiak as the new chief operating officer of Alpha 1 Marketing, the marketing and merchandising division of the company.
Lebiak joined Alpha 1 in 2012 as a vice president. In his new capacity, he will continue to oversee multiple departments from advertising and marketing to retail operations and merchandising, and will work on unifying the departments by merging the skill sets of employees with various backgrounds and experience levels. Before joining the company, Lebiak was vice president of center store at Foodtown Inc. and a category manager for Twin County Grocers Inc.
“Gus’ extensive industry background has been a significant asset to our team,” said Thatcher Krasne, CEO and president of Alpha 1 Marketing. “He brings a unique perspective from his years working on all sides of the grocery industry and, in his time at Krasdale, has helped to spearhead key programs for both our employees and customers.”
