NewYork-Presbyterian is supporting local nonprofits in Westchester County and New York City by opening applications for the 2024 Community Fund for a second year, providing grants ranging from $75,000 to $150,000 annually – extendable for one additional year, for a maximum of $300,000.
The Community Fund seeks to foster innovative solutions by addressing critical social determinants of health while strengthening relationships with community partners. In 2023, grantees included Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill (CHHOP).
This opportunity is available to nonprofit, religious or government agencies with a community service mission across New York City and Westchester County that actively addresses social isolation, housing insecurity and unemployment/economic recovery.
The deadline for applications is Sunday, June 9, at noon. Once applications are submitted, eligible organizations and projects will be required to follow NewYork-Presbyterian guidelines for submitting a full proposal.
The Community Fund aims to empower local organizations by enhancing their operational capabilities and extending their impact within the communities they serve. Through this grant, eligible organizations will receive funding that supports their initiatives. Preference will be given to programs that present a real benefit for residents in the community. Final selections will be announced and awarded in the fall. Funds will be dispersed, and the grant cycle will begin in January.
