USI Insurance Services, the insurance brokerage and consulting company headquartered in Valhalla, this month acquired the property-casualty business of Alexander & Associates Insurance Services LLC in El Paso, Texas.
USI in its recent announcement said the deal reinforces USI’s presence as a leading middle-market insurance brokerage and consulting firm in Texas and complements the company’s personal risk services, commercial property-casualty, employee benefits and retirement consulting offerings.
The acquired business and its employees will join USI’s El Paso office. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ranked the third-largest privately held insurance broker in the U.S. last year by an insurance trade publication, USI has 4,400 employees in more than 140 offices across the U.S. The Valhalla-based company reported approximately $1 billion in annualized revenue.
