Eifert, French and Ketchum, an insurance agency headquartered in Pelham, has merged Arnold K. Davis Insurance into its business.
Arnold K. Davis Insurance was founded in 1954 and had offices in Purchase and New York City. The agency offers business and personal lines of insurance as well as group employee benefits, and will operate as a division of Eifert, French and Ketchum.
“The insurance marketplace is more complicated than ever,” said Brian H. Eifert, the president of the Pelham firm. “Offering a broad base of solutions is what Arnold K. Davis Insurance is all about, and we are excited to welcome them into our family.”
According to a report on insurancejournal.com, the combined business will have about 50 employees, and Robert A. Davis, the former president of Arnold K. Davis Insurance, will be vice president of Eifert, French and Ketchum. Arnold K. Davis Insurance’s seven employees have moved into Eifert, French and Ketchum’s Pelham office, according to the report.
Eifert, French and Ketchum has offices in Pelham and Yorktown Heights as well as Tenafly, N.J. Founded in New York City by Alan Eifert in 1933, the firm moved to Westchester County in 1969. The company offers automobile, homeowners and business insurance, as well as group health and life and long-term care insurance. It also insures home heating oil dealers and auto dismantling businesses.
