Small-business membership in Access Health CT increased by 22% year-over-year and was able to recoup canceled groups that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the state”™s official group health insurance marketplace.
In addition, AHCT saw a significant increase of 83% in dental plan enrollment year over year.
“Our focus is to be a helping hand and trusted resource for Connecticut small businesses, especially during a global health pandemic,” said John Carbone, AHCT director of Small Business and Product Development.
The organization”™s small-business unit also offers health insurance options to nonprofits and other organizations with 50 or fewer employees. Standalone plans can also be bought by individuals.
